EMCO's "RoHS products" are those products which are designed to comply with the European Union's Restriction on the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Electronic Equipment Directive 2002/95/EC, which means that either (A) the levels of lead (Pb) and other materials banned by the RoHS directive in our products are below applicable substance thresholds as proposed by the European Union, and thus considered “Lead-Free,” or (B) an approved RoHS exemption applies to the product.
